Rescue in Rwanda: Upstanderism during the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda. This webinar will describe and analyze rescue, resistance, and other forms of upstanderism during the genocide. Panelists include a genocide survivor who was rescued as well as experts on upstanderism during genocides in Rwanda and elsewhere. Amid an era of multiple genocides around the world, reflecting on upstanderism during a past genocide can provide lessons for the present and future.
